Cheating always carries some risk. These habits meaningfully lower your chances of being flagged or banned.
  • Use a VPN. Keep your main IP from being permanently banned. A residential-style VPN plan looks like a real home connection, so most servers won’t flag it.
  • Avoid rage features. If staying unbanned is your priority, skip aggressive features like thick bullet, spread, and flyhack. Stick to ESP and the occasional aimbot.

Feature habits

Rust periodically runs sanity checks (roughly every ten minutes). Avoid features such as time changer / bright night, remove layers, FOV changer, zoom, and debug camera — these can get you flagged or banned.
  • Don’t use F7 to report players. Rust runs an environment sanity check when you do.
  • Keep it believable. Extreme stats and obvious snapping draw reports. Smoother settings look far more legit.
  • Rage on a throwaway. If you want to rage-cheat, do it on an NFA account instead of your main.
